Rocksmith 2014 – Lessons Trailer

0 By Jason Matthew

Ubisoft has revealed a new trailer for the upcoming guitar teaching software Rocksmith 2014, called “Lessons”. It showcases how the game teaches basic guitar techniques for beginners to learn some of their favorite songs, building up to more advanced techniques like tapping and pinch harmonics. If you’ve never picked up a guitar in your life, it will even show you things like how to hold a pick correctly and how to put on your guitar strap.

Once you’ve become acclimated with the basics of guitar, you can start any of the 80 included lessons, which cover everything from chords and tremolo to palm mutes and vibrato. Rocksmith 2014 can even understand what mistakes you may be making, and will help you out by pointing out that, for instance, you’re on the wrong string or that you’re bending a note too hard. The game gives you complete control over the lessons, allowing you to replay sections, play along to a practice track, replay video lessons, and more.
