PSN In Final Stages Of Being Restored
Sony has stated that the new and improved Playstation Network is in its final stages of testing and will go live within the next few days.
Patrick Seybold of Sony released a statement via the PS Blog.
“As previously mentioned, we’ve been working around the clock to rebuild the network and enhance protections of your personal data. It’s our top priority to ensure your data is safe when you begin using the services again.
We understand that many of you are eager to again enjoy the PlayStation Network and Qriocity entertainment services that you love, so we wanted you to be aware of this milestone and our progress. We will provide additional updates as soon as we can.”
Howard Stringer released a letter to everyone explaining Sony’s plans to offer all PSN users in the US a free year of enrollment into an identity theft protection program, which will probably be extended to all users worldwide. You can read the letter here.
