Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Gameplay Unveil
It’s a pirate assassin’s life for Edward Kenway in this Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag gameplay trailer.
There’s a few setting/ time period/ character combinations that we’ve all known the Assassin’s Creed franchise would eventually delve into. One of them is ninja assassins in Japan (fingers crossed for ACV), and one of them is pirates. In Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, you’ll take up arms as Edward Kenway (descendant of Assassin’s Creed III‘s Haytham Kenway), during what would eventually come to be known as the Golden Age of Pirates. Kenway starts out privateering for the Royal Navy, but soon falls into piracy as the war between the major Empires comes to an end. Set at the beginning of the 18th century, the game will feature some of the most infamous pirates in history, such as Blackbeard and Charles Vane.
Players can pre-order the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag GameStop Edition to obtain the Black Island Pack exclusive game content. Pre-orders will also come with a poster designed by award-winning comic artist Todd McFarlane while supplies last.
In Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag’s The Black Island Pack, Captain Morgan’s favorite ship has sunk off the coast, packed to the brim with legendary treasure and equipment. You can survey the wreckage and obtain items to aid you in your journey.
The Black Island Pack includes:
The dark and dangerous treasure-hunting quest: Black Island.
The deadly Black Ship.
Legendary silver flintlock pistols used by Captain Morgan.
Valuable multiplayer items including Captain Morgans costume, picture, and title.
Ubisoft promises that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will feature over 50 locations to explore, as well as both new and classic Assassin weaponry. The game will reward both stealth and action-based gameplay, and multiplayer once again is a major component of the package.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Wii U, and next gen systems like PlayStation 4 beginning on October 29th, 2013.
