Guerrilla Games shared the news of Munnik’s death (which occurred on Monday June 10th) today on Twitter.

Munnik joined Guerilla in 2011 and worked as a senior producer during his tenure at the acclaimed development studio. During that time, Guerrilla released two PlayStation 4 titles, Killzone Shadow Fall and Horizon Zero Dawn. Prior to his work at Guerilla, he worked at a communication technology services company called Getronics and also a 3D design company called Navigram.
Guerrilla Games is currently working on its next title, which is probably a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. Nothing has been confirmed by the company so far though, but it is likely that there will be some sort of tribute to the accomplished developer.
