WWE 13 / WWE 12 Graphics Comparison
Check out our graphics comparison of The Rock’s entrance and character model in WWE 12 Vs. WWE 13.
You might not think a whole lot is different from last year regarding WWE 13‘s graphics engine. However, if you take a good look at these comparison shots, matched up in time with one another and taken from The Rock’s entrance, you can see THQ and WWE Games have made some pretty big improvements to the modeling, lighting, and skin rendering since WWE 12 last year. His tattoos and physique look more realistic, and the skin has just the right amount of shine. Last year’s facial model looked pretty off, so we’re glad THQ and Yuke’s managed to fix him in this year’s edition. That said, it’s a bit odd that they made him less toned than last year. If anything, The Rock has only gotten fitter as of late. If you watched Survivor Series or WrestleMania 28, you know the guy is a monster.
WWE 13 was released on October 30th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. You can check out our review here. What do you think? Does The Great One look better in this year’s edition? Or do you prefer last year’s model? Let us know in the comments below!
