Activison’s Prototype 2 Invading New York Comic-Con October 14thOctober 12, 2011
Activision confirmed today that PROTOTYPE 2 – Radical Entertainment’s upcoming open-world sequel to 2008’s Prototype – will be shown and playable at Activision’s New York Comic-Con booth. Radical will also be showing the second part in the trailer series at www.prototypegame.com on Friday, 14th October. They have also revealed a new “monster creation tool”, called PROTOTHINGY.
“A few months ago, we let our fans see PROTOTYPE 2 for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con, and now we have put together two great playable missions for New York Comic-Con,” said Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment. “The first mission touches lightly on Heller’s story, while the other is something we call a ‘Rampage Challenge’ – where it’s all about the action and players can compete for the best score. Both missions will give fans an initial taste of what’s in store when the final version of PROTOTYPE 2 comes out in April next year.”
Radical will also be hosting a Twitter contest this weekend. Tweet any message containing #PROTOTYPE2 between 05:00 AM (BST) Thursday, 13th October through to 16:59 PM Sunday, 16thOctober and you will be automatically entered into a random drawing to claim the prize. The winner will be announced at 05:00am on Monday, 17th October. You can also visit www.facebook.com/prototype2 and create your own monster.
