First WWE 2K15 Screenshot – John Cena
Earlier today, WWE Superstar John Cena released the first image from the upcoming WWE 2K15, the first next-gen entry in the series, via his Twitter account @JohnCena. Now 2K has released a hi-res version, which shows the staggering amount of detail put into recreating one of WWE’s most popular wrestlers.
John’s hair, face, and even his jorts look incredibly lifelike as he gives Randy Orton a death stare in the new screenshot. Even the veins bulging out of his arms look 100% accurate, and it’s obvious that 2K’s full-body scans have helped to drastically improve the game’s overall look. It’s safe to say that WWE 2K15 will be, at least graphically, a huge jump forward for the franchise when it releases this fall. Currently WWE 2K15 is being worked on by Visual Concepts and Yuke’s, and is set for release on October 28th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. “With his outstanding record of accomplishments in WWE and beyond, the iconic John Cena is the perfect WWE Superstar to represent the WWE 2K franchise as we launch the first-ever WWE video game on next-generation consoles,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K. “Along with monumental gameplay, graphical and presentation improvements, we are confident that Cena will drive WWE 2K15 to cement its spot in history as the greatest WWE video game released to date.”
