WWE’s Randy Orton Attacked By Audience Member

WWE Superstar Randy Orton was attacked by an audience member during a house show in Cape Town, South Africa.

WWE Superstar Randy Orton was attacked by a member of the audience at a house show in Justin Gabriel’s hometown of Cape Town, South Africa. A fan in the crowd managed to take a video of the event, although it’s incredibly shaky and low-quality. In fact, it’s probably the worst video ever captured by man or beast.

The audience member ran into the ring during a match and gave Orton a low-blow, which knocked Orton over momentarily. Randy Orton didn’t seem too badly injured, but he was definitely pissed off – near the end of the video he gets on the top rope and gives the attacker the finger multiple times, and then kicks something in the ring before exiting. WWE states that the matter is under investigation by the local authorities, and that the attacker is being held in jail pending criminal charges. It’ll be interesting to see if WWE mentions this event at all on SmackDown or RAW.
