Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance DLC Coming July 2
Activision has revealed the release date and details for the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops II‘s third DLC pack will be coming July 2nd exclusively to Xbox 360, with PlayStation 3 and PC versions to follow.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance packs four new multiplayer maps – Cove, Rush, Detour and Uplink. Cove is set on an abandoned island out in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Detour takes place on a demolished suspension bridge on the East Coast, Rush is a paintball course, and Uplink is a reimagining of the fan-favorite map Summit from the original Black Ops. The pack also features Buried, a new Zombies mode where players face off in an Old West mining town against the undead, with the help of a new weapon – the Ray Gun Mark II.
“When it’s difficult to see the line between playtesting and leisurely gaming around the studio, it’s a sure sign that we’ve created something fun with Vengeance,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “From the four multiplayer maps to our new Zombies experience, “Buried,” Vengeance continues doing what we set out to accomplish from the very beginning of development on Call of Duty: Black Ops II: pushing the boundaries of fans’ expectations.”
