New Remember Me Video Showcases Memory Gameplay
The Creative Director for Capcom’s upcoming Remember Me talks about how memories tie into both the story and gameplay of the title.
Memories are not just an integral part of the story in Capcom’s Remember Me – the theme also ties in with the gameplay. In this new video, Jean Maxime-Moris, Creative Director at developer DONTNOD Entertainment, talks about the memory mechanic, and how it sets Remember Me apart from other games of its ilk.
The player controls Nilin (voiced by Kezia Burrows), an amnesiac ‘memory hunter’, through the streets of Neo-Paris in the year 2084. This dystopian future is under constant heavy surveillance. Nilin’s former employer, Memorize, erases her memories to neutralize her and she must discover why and how to restore them. The gameplay consists of stealth, melee, platforming, and exploration.
Remember Me is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on June 4 and across Europe on June 7.
