Check out a sweet new trailer and screens for the upcoming freemium title Iron Man 3 – The Official Game.
Gameloft has released a new trailer and screens for its upcoming freemium model Iron Man 3 – The Official Game, which will be an “endless runner” similar to Temple Run. The game is graphically impressive, tasking the player with gliding through the air, blasting enemies with Tony Stark’s hand repulsor and avoiding attacks from jets and high tech weaponry. Gameloft has also included a range of unlockable Iron Man suits in the game. Some of these include his Mark VII suit from The Avengers, the Silver Centurion suit, two versions of the War Machine suit, and more.
The game features over 18 different armors that are available at the Stark Industries headquarters. After each run, your suit will be temporarily damaged, and built up tokens can be used to upgrade your armor’s strength, special and health. Wait timers can be skipped by using/ buying tokens, but in-app purchases are not mandatory. Once a day you’ll be able to come back and fight a boss to advance the main story, such as Whiplash, as you progress through the game’s levels and unlock the ultimate iterations of the Iron Man suits in order to take down the Mandarin.
Iron Man 3 – The Official Game will be available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices on April 25th. Iron Man 3 will be in theaters on May 3rd, 2013, and stars Robert Downey, Jr. , Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin.
