The Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC is now available to PlayStation 3 and PC owners of the game.

 

Activision and Treyarch have announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC can now be accessed on PlayStation 3 and PC. This first DLC pack for Black Ops 2 offers”one of the most robust and diverse DLC offerings in Call of Duty history”, sporting four new multiplayer maps, a new Zombies co-op map and game mode, and an all new multiplayer weapon, the Peacekeeper. The new maps are dynamic and diverse, including Downhill, a snow-covered snowboarding hill environment, Grind, which appears to be an X-Games vert course, and Hydro, a water-soaked level. Rounding out the pack is Mirage, which appears to be an Asian-themed temple in the middle of a desert. A new Zombie map, “Die Rise”,  which takes place inside a crumbling Chinese city, can now be played with the new DLC. Additionally, Black Ops 2 Revolution’s all-new zombie mode “Turned” allows players to finally play as zombies, allowing for a completely new method of gameplay.

 

 

The Revolution DLC Map Pack arrives first on Xbox LIVE on January 29th, with other platforms to follow. Purchasing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Season Pass gets you Revolution plus the remaining three DLC Map Packs at a discounted price.
