Ubisoft has just released a new launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. Learn about the stories left out of the history books that formed our nation as well as a Master Assassin, Connor. Assassin’s Creed 3 will let players relive the American Revolution in a new, darker light, and not through the rose-tinted glasses that history classes have taught us.

 

 

Assassin’s Creed 3 has been in development for almost three years. The game is running on a new version of the Anvil Engine, AnvilNext. You’ll battle alongside George Washington, hunt wildlife, fight enemies in naval combat, and assassinate from the shadows of the wilderness. Assassin’s Creed 3 also features dynamic environments, with changes like rain, snow, and fog affecting the surroundings. These changes aren’t just cosmetic, either- snow will be tough for both the player and enemies to trudge through, and and rivers will turn to ice in the winter, creating access to previously inaccessible areas.

 

Assassin’s Creed 3 will be available on October 30th.
