Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD Screens And Trailer
There’s no doubt about it: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 are classic games. It’s true that the newer games have strayed away from what made the originals so fun to play, but it seems that Activision recognizes this and is attempting to make right again with the fans. They’re releasing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD in summer 2012, with the great controls and levels you remember, in glorious high definition.
“Tony is not only a legend in the skateboarding world, he’s an American icon that has had a major impact on videogames. We couldn’t be happier to be working with him again,” said David Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD just feels right – we’re simply giving fans what they’ve been clamoring for.”
The game has a revamped lineup of skaters this time around. You’ll get to play as Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole, Eric Koston, Andrew Reynolds, Rodney Mullen, Lyn-z Adams Hawkins (Pastrana), Riley Hawk, and, of course, Tony Hawk himself. What, no Spider-Man? C’mon Activision, everyone wants the friendly neighborhood web-slinger!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD will be available summer 2012 for around $15.
