GameStop to Launch Game Streaming Service Starting In 2012

GameStop is going digital, with a new service launching in 2012 that will stream games to consoles, PC and even TVs. GameStop recently acquired a company called Spawn Labs, and they will be supplying GameStop with the technology.

The service will be used to help customers try and games before they buy them, and will be available to GameStop PowerUp Rewards subscribers. The company has not released any more details at this time.

Gamefly is starting a digital service as well, which will debut on September 9th in a beta.
